Facial Brush: My new goal for 2015 is to take care of my skin which has been recieving serious negligence for the past year. (Last years goal was to focus on abs 🙂 ). So coveting this facial brush which has raging reviews and a not so heavy price tag. The plan is to intricate into my nightly beauty regime and before putting on the serum, and waking up to a healthy glow!!

Lip Balm: I am a mom of two, who is well always busy and always on a run. So for my run I usually show up in my workout clothes and (GASP..) no make up!! I hate getting up and slathering myself up with makeup. But lack of color on my face I didn’t appreciate that much. So this Dior Lip balm sounds divine. (Coz the only thing I want to apply is lip balm). Absolutely on to top of my wishlist!!

Olay Regenerist: Next thing I want to add to my beauty regime is a serum to defy aging. I should have done that couple of years ago, coz they say the earlier you start the better, nevertheless here we go. This is the product I have chosen for me. Off the shelf you might say. But effective as I have heard.

Truck Art Chair: Absolutely needing, dreaming, coveting this Truck art chair. I need this statement piece in my home for sure this 2015!!!!

Succulents: i have always had a crush on succulents. And its been a while I have been dreaming of them. I have the perfect spot to place them in my living room, by  the window, on the coffee table, on the vignette. Well almost everywhere. And its about time I go out there and get some.

That Door: I just recently found this beautiful creation. And instantly I am in love. I kind of see it as an extension to the truck art love affair. What I see is some sort of creation in future inspired by this door. I hope its a door though 😀

HAPPY 2015!!!!!!!

Side Tables

My current obsession!!!… Side Tables
Its the kind of thing you look for, when you don’t want to transform a room but just elevate it. I think these pieces are just magical.
I absolutely love them. They are petite, they are pretty, they are whimsy and they are perfect little things to add texture and a place for your drink in a room. I just cant get enough of them. Every room needs some of these gorgeous pieces, and my room need like tons of these guys!! one for the lonely corner, one for tuck under the vignette, one to hold the phone and some knick knacks.

See how beautifully they fit and how majestically they contribute to the room. They are like pretty sculptures with defined role in a room! N i have decided I just cannot live without the wood bark or the gold wire! I hv got to get my hand on them… here are my some absolute fav picks :

mood board for black and white bedroom

You just cannot go wrong with black and white. You just can’t. Its like the rule of thumb. I came across this beautiful anonymous image of minimal black and white bedroom. And I couldn’t get over it. You can add layers and layers to it with art and photography and maybe color. Or you can just keep it simple bare plain without losing its touch!I am all for it!

Chalkboard Wall

As couple we often find polarized when it comes to making mutual decor decisions. So when my husband declared I was relieved when my husband said he wanted the living room feature wall to be chalkboard wall!!! Finallly!! I thought I wold never have one.

we have two feature walls in our living room + dinging room space. Me and my husband split it between each other. I was responsible for the dining room wall featured behind the frozen birthday party . And my husband was responsible for the tv display wall. For the dining room wall I was clear and concise it had to be stripes. The living room wall was open for experiment and what i had in mind was some maybe ombre or color block or CHALKBOARD! honestly i never thought my husband would pluck the nerve but he did!!

I have to admit i was pretty nervous when i first held up the chalk to the wall. to make things easier i broke it down into four sections.  I always loved the Dubai skyline and my husband wanted the algebra equation. The tv turned out to be our starting point becoz it had to be in the middle and to add frame to it was simply to make it a part of the feature wall. And MY feature wall had to have the typography or calligraphy whatever its called. I had soooo much fun fiddling around with chalk. The thing about chalk is that you even love the imperfections. 🙂
